We’re excited because we’ve got more Delran Street Signs to sell. So if you’re looking for a unique one-of-kind gift, consider purchasing an old street sign. Delran Township is in the process of replacing neighborhood street signs and they’ve provided the old signs to the Delran Historical Society to sell as a fundraiser.  We’re selling the old streets signs for $20 on a first come first serve basis. We started this process last September and sold 250 signs.  This time, we have 230 signs for 115 streets available.

We learned a lot when we started selling the signs in the fall.   We received over 100 requests since April 11, 2018.  Emails were sent out to those planning to pick up their signs.  Your sign will be waiting with your name on it.  Unfortunately, we also had to send messages to several people indicating that the sign they wanted was no longer available.  If you indicated that you wanted your sign shipped, we will be in touch later this week.   Signs can be picked up on May 15 between 6-8pm at the Delran Municipal Building.  Once you’ve received confirmation that your sign is available, if you want to play be credit card, please do so before you arrive to pick your sign.   Of course, we will take cash at pick-up.  We will bring all of the available signs to the Municipal Building at 6pm.  You can stop by and see if the sign you want is available.

The goal of the Delran Historical Society is to protect and preserve Delran Township’s history and to educate the public about our special town. We hold meetings on the third Tuesday of the month. Our meetings start at 7pm and are open to the public. Check out the Delran Historical Society on Facebook and our website.  We also encourage you to considering joining the Delran Historical Society.  A family membership is just $15.
